Stella Morabito

Stella Morabito is author of The Weaponization of Loneliness: How Tyrants Stoke Our Fear of Isolation to Silence, Divide, and Conquer (Bombardier Books, 2022.) Numerous media figures have interviewed Stella at length about her book, including Dennis Prager, Jan Jekielek, and Tucker Carlson (the latter was not aired because of the timing of Carlson’s split with Fox News in April 2023.)

Stella wrote The Weaponization of Loneliness because she believes it is imperative that a lot more people gain insight into the natural conformity impulse that gives so much oxygen to destructive agendas. The impulse is grounded in the natural human fear of ostracism, which is the key tool tyrants use to enforce compliance with their agendas. Understanding how this “machinery of loneliness” works is critical to developing strategies to counter it and preserve freedom.

Stella has been a senior contributor at The Federalist since 2014, and has been interviewed about several of her thought-provoking articles. Many of them focus on the effects of propaganda, group think, censorship, and the cult mindset, all of which threaten our freedom. Rush Limbaugh read aloudand extensively discussed Stella’s 2015 Federalist essay “How to Escape the Age of Mass Delusion” on his show.

Stella’s essays have appeared in several other publications, including the Washington Examiner, American Greatness, Public Discourse, Townhall, American Thinker, the Human Life Review, and First Things.

Throughout the 1980’s, Stella served as an analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. There she focused on various aspects of Russian and Soviet Politics, specifically communist media and propaganda. After she resigned from that work to raise her family, Stella continued to apply her expertise in propaganda to analyzing the dynamics of what we now call “wokeness” in America.

Stella has a master’s degree in Russian and Soviet History and a bachelor’s degree in journalism and international Relations, both from the University of Southern California.  She and her husband, Brian Green, currently reside in the Shenandoah Valley. They have three grown sons.

Episode 37: Why The Senate’s Ritual Defamation Of Brett Kavanaugh Threatens Every American

09/28/2018

Guest(s): Stella Morabito

“Any rational observer of the Democrats’ non-stop character assassination machine can see that something is seriously sick in our republic. Instead of allowing Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee were permitted to use trumped-up, hip-pocketed charges to stage a show trial more in tune with a totalitarian system.” Stella Morabito – The Federalist
