Kenny Reff is our Director/Editor.

Kenny Reff is a network news veteran with 30 years experience in the field, from the front lines of network news producing at CNN, to high-end productions of prestigious corporate image and public affairs videos.

While a Senior Producer with CNN, Mr. Reff produced live coverage of major political events and breaking news stories around the world. During his 7-year tenure, he field-produced for the network’s coverage of two presidential campaigns in 1980 and 1984, produced a daily news report with Senior Correspondent Daniel Schorr, and was Executive Producer for the coverage of numerous special events. Under direct requests from Ted Turner, Mr. Reff also created and produced original programming for the network including weekly shows, series and specials.

Earlier, Mr. Reff designed and taught a television production course at Boston University. The class, which he conceived, became a core requirement for those seeking a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

As Executive Producer and President of Limelight Communications since 1985, Mr. Reff has produced more than 1000 shows for Fortune 500 companies, major national associations, and the television networks. Among them…. Apple Computer, NASA, America Online, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Johnson & Johnson, American Lung Association, AARP,MCI, Disney, DreamWorks Entertainment, the White House, National Archives, PBS, CNN and NBC. He also regularly produces for Washington’s major public relations firms including Hill and Knowlton, Ogilvy & Mather, Burson Marsteller, Ketchum Public Relations and Spectrum Science Public Relations.

Awards won by Mr. Reff include the Silver Anvil, Public Relations Society of America Thoth Award, New York Festivals Award, Washington D.C. International Film Festival Rosebud Award, Communicator Award, Vision Award, National Cable Television Secure Signal Award, the Axiem Award and numerous Telly Awards.

Mr. Reff holds a Master of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism, Boston University.
